Tamworth Co-op has completed a £400,000 refit at its Dosthill convenience store, bringing an enhanced shopping experience for the local community and strengthening partnerships with suppliers.
The upgraded store features a modern layout, improved product ranges, and new services designed to make shopping easier and more enjoyable for customers. Residents can now access:
Fresh food and grocery ranges with improved quality and variety
Additional convenience services tailored to local needs, including an enhanced food to go offering
A more welcoming store environment for families and individuals alike
“The refit at Dosthill reflects our commitment to serving the community,” said Dan Welsh, CEO for Tamworth Co-op. “We want our stores to be a place where customers can shop with ease, find high-quality products, and enjoy friendly, local service.”
The project also provided an opportunity to work closely with local and national suppliers, ensuring customers benefit from the best products and services available. “It’s been fantastic to collaborate with our suppliers on this refit,” Dan added. “Working together has allowed us to bring in new ranges and better meet the needs of our community.”
The £400,000 investment is part of Tamworth Co-op’s wider programme to modernise stores while staying true to the co-operative values that have guided the Society since 1886. The Society remains dedicated to fair pricing, excellent service, and supporting the communities it serves.
Customers are invited to visit the newly refitted Dosthill store and enjoy the upgraded facilities and services.
